Refund and Cancellation Policy
We want refunds to be fair to you and to the work our team has put in. This policy explains what happens to advances, milestone payments and subscriptions if you cancel, which charges are paid to third parties and are outside our control, and how to request a refund.
1. How this policy works
This policy applies to payments made to GrowNagar for projects, services and software subscriptions. If your signed proposal or agreement has different refund or cancellation terms, those terms apply instead.
The basic idea is simple: you pay for work done and costs already committed, and money for work not yet started is returned. Nothing in this policy takes away rights you have under Indian consumer protection law.
2. Advance payments
Most projects begin with an advance that lets us reserve team time and start planning.
- Cancel before work starts (before the kickoff meeting or first deliverable): we refund the advance, less any third-party costs already paid on your behalf and a documented administration charge of up to 10% of the advance, if stated in your proposal.
- Cancel after work starts: we work out the value of work done up to the cancellation date (discovery, design, setup or development hours) and committed third-party costs. If the advance is more than this, we refund the balance. If it is less, the difference is payable.
3. Milestone payments
- Projects are usually split into milestones, each with a deliverable and a payment.
- Payment for a milestone that has been delivered and approved, or deemed approved under your proposal, is not refundable, because that work is complete.
- If you have paid for a milestone that has not started, and you cancel, that payment is refunded in full, less committed third-party costs.
- For a milestone in progress, we charge for the portion completed and refund the rest.
4. Completed and delivered work
Work that has been delivered and accepted (for example a launched website, a configured CRM, delivered designs, or a month of managed services already provided) is generally not refundable.
If delivered work does not match the agreed scope, tell us within 15 days of delivery. We will first fix it at no extra cost. If we cannot fix it within a reasonable time, we will discuss a fair partial refund for the affected part.
5. SaaS subscriptions and renewals
- Cancelling: you can cancel any time by writing to support@grownagar.in. Cancellation stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Monthly plans: the current month is not refunded once it has started, but you will not be charged again.
- Yearly plans: if you cancel within 14 days of the start or renewal date and have not substantially used the Service, we refund the yearly fee less any setup and third-party costs. After that, we refund the unused full months on a pro-rata basis less any discount received for annual billing, or as stated in your agreement. no refund for the remaining term, but the service continues until the term ends
- Renewals: we try to remind you before a yearly renewal. If you are charged for a renewal you did not want, tell us within 7 days and, if you have not used the renewed period, we will refund it.
- One-time setup or onboarding fees cover work done at the start (configuration, data import, training) and are refundable only if that work has not started.
- Service failure: if a paid Service is unavailable for a long period because of our fault, service credits or refunds apply as set out in your agreement, or as we fairly agree with you.
More on subscriptions is in our Terms of Service.
6. Third-party charges
Some costs are paid to other companies, either directly by you or by us on your behalf. GrowNagar does not keep this money and cannot refund it once the third party has charged it. These include:
- Domain name registration and renewal fees.
- Hosting, cloud server, email and software licence fees.
- WhatsApp conversation or message charges set by Meta, and charges of any WhatsApp Business Solution Provider.
- Payment gateway, bank and transaction fees.
- Paid plugins, themes, stock images, fonts or other assets bought for your project.
Where a third party offers its own refund (for example, a cancelled domain within its grace period), we will help you request it, and pass on any amount we receive.
7. Advertising budgets
Ad budgets for Google Ads, Meta Ads and other platforms are paid to those platforms, separately from GrowNagar's management fee. Spend that the platform has already used is decided by the platform's own billing and refund rules, and GrowNagar cannot refund it.
- If you pause or end a campaign, we will stop the ads promptly so no further budget is spent.
- If you paid us an amount to load as ad budget and it has not been spent, we will return the unspent balance after the platform's billing cycle settles.
- Management fees for a period already worked are not refundable. Fees paid in advance for a future period not yet started are refunded if you cancel before it begins.
8. Cancellation by GrowNagar
If we cancel a project or Service for reasons that are not your fault, we will refund all amounts paid for work not yet delivered, and hand over completed work that has been paid for. If we end a Service because of non-payment or a serious breach of our terms, the rules above for work done and committed costs apply.
9. Who is eligible
A refund request will be considered when:
- It is made by the customer named on the invoice, or someone authorised by them.
- It is made in writing within the time limits in this policy or your agreement.
- The payment was made to GrowNagar (not directly to a third party).
Refunds may not apply where a Service was suspended for breach of our Acceptable Use Policy or a platform's rules, except for any unused prepaid amount we are legally required to return.
10. How to request a cancellation or refund
- Email support@grownagar.in with the subject "Cancellation" or "Refund request".
- Include your name, business name, invoice number, the project or plan, and the reason for your request.
- We will acknowledge your request within 2 working days.
- We will review the work done and costs committed, and send you a clear written breakdown of the refund amount, if any, within 7 working days.
- Once you confirm, approved refunds are processed within 7–10 working days to the original payment method or to a bank account you confirm in writing.
Bank or gateway processing may take a few extra days after we send the refund. Taxes such as GST are adjusted as required by law, for example through a credit note.
11. Disagreements
If you disagree with a refund decision, reply to our email or write to hello@grownagar.in. We will review it again with a senior team member. You can also use our Grievance Redressal process. Billing details are in our Payment and Billing Terms.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version in force when you made your payment applies to that payment, unless your agreement says otherwise.
