Cookie Policy
By default, our website uses only the essential storage it needs to work and to remember your cookie choice. We use Google Tag Manager with Google Consent Mode: analytics and advertising cookies are used only after you say yes, and you can change your mind at any time.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, do the same kind of job. In this policy we call all of them "cookies".
Cookies can be essential (the site needs them to work) or optional (they help measure visits or show ads). Some are set by the website itself (first-party) and some by other companies whose tools the site uses (third-party).
2. Our approach
- Our website is a simple static site. There are no user accounts or logins on it.
- No optional cookies are set before you give consent. When you first visit, only essential storage is used.
- A cookie banner lets you accept or reject optional categories. Rejecting is as easy as accepting.
- We use Google Tag Manager (Google LLC) with Google Consent Mode. Google Tag Manager loads on every page, but consent is set to "denied" by default. Until you accept, Google tags do not set analytics or advertising cookies and do not use advertising identifiers; they may send limited cookieless signals (for example, that a page was viewed), as Google describes for Consent Mode. When you accept analytics or marketing cookies, the matching tags start working fully. You can change your choice at any time.
3. Types of cookies
Essential (always on)
These are needed for the site to work safely and cannot be switched off. They include storage that remembers your cookie choice, and security or performance features provided by our hosting and content delivery provider, such as protection against bots and attacks. They do not track you across other websites.
Functional (only with consent, if enabled)
These would remember optional preferences, such as a language choice, or support embedded content like videos or maps. Embedded content from other platforms may set its own cookies, so we load it only after you agree or after you click to load it.
Analytics (only with consent)
These help us understand how many people visit, which pages are useful and where visitors come from, so we can improve the site. We would prefer privacy-friendly settings, such as shortened IP addresses, where the tool allows it.
Marketing (only with consent)
These let advertising platforms such as Google or Meta measure whether our ads led to an enquiry, and show more relevant ads. They are never set unless you opt in.
4. Lead source tracking without cookies
When you submit a form, we include the page you were on and any campaign tags in the link (UTM parameters). This information is sent only with the form you choose to submit, and is explained in our Privacy Policy.
5. Third-party technologies
Our website may use services from other companies, such as hosting and content delivery networks, form-processing services, and Google Tag Manager with Google Analytics and advertising measurement tags (cookies only with your consent), or embedded media providers. These providers handle data under their own privacy policies. When we enable a new optional tool, we will list it here with its purpose.
Note: Current list of optional tools: none active. Google Tag Manager (Google LLC) with Consent Mode: Google Analytics and advertising measurement tags set cookies only after you give consent; retention follows the settings in those Google tools
6. Your consent and choices
- You can accept all, reject all, or choose categories in the cookie banner.
- You can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings link on the website (usually in the footer).
- If you withdraw consent, optional cookies stop being used from that point. Cookies already set can be removed through your browser settings.
- We will ask again if we add a new category or make a significant change.
7. Managing cookies in your browser
Most browsers let you see, block and delete cookies. Look for "Privacy" or "Cookies" in your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge and others all offer this). Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site, such as the cookie banner, from working properly.
8. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when we add or remove tools or change how we use cookies. The date at the top shows the latest version.
